Authors. If you have an event coming up, please have store coordinate it directly with Steel Moon. For the first month and a half distribution books are available to bookstores at 1/2 price, 2 day service and non-returnable. Stores will accept that for customer orders, but balk at bulk orders.

We have performed test orders with large and small retailers at random and customer orders through Ingram is functional. Bulk orders are not. EXCEPT THROUGH STEEL MOON.

To be "safe," it should be noted that those orders are filled the last three days of the month and the first three. As they are basically "free" meaning that when invoiced the store can just send the remainder back, THEY ARE NOT a priority with us. As I posted at the Steel moon forum, we are going to "stock pile," authors to some degree so they can play. As to where to ship, it can be either the author or the store. The stockpile issues you would have to split with the store. Bulk returnable orders from store ... they get 50% of MSR, the money left printing costs come out of.. Money left after that is profit and divided between Author and Steel.
